Our Story
Bluedog Cycles opened in October 2005, when Pete and Alycann Taylor returned to their Wisconsin roots from the distant land of Idaho, where they had spent about eight years enjoying its four-season wonderland. The birth of their little girl Wilma Grace brought them back towards family. Four years later, and with the addition of Lucy Blue, Bluedog Cycles and the Taylors are thrilled to call Viroqua home.

Bluedog Cycles is committed to friendly professional service and sales for the entire community. With a knowledgeable staff, we will emphasize recreation, alternative transportation, education, trail advocacy, and a full appreciation of the surrounding geography.
In addition to running the shop, we host a number of events, including a kids bike camp, Camp Bluedog and the Pertnear 20 - an annual bike race that showcases the amazing trails we have helped develop and nurture over the years.
We offer full bike sales and professional bike service for the family, mountain and road cyclist, snowshoer, and skier. We are also excited to teach maintenance classes and provide a public maintenance workshop for the community. Spring - fall, group road and mountain bike rides head out weekly (check it out on our Facebook page). When we're not in shop you can probably find us building trail.
